Job Description

Leading the future in luxury electric and mobility
At Lucid, we set out to introduce the most captivating, luxury electric vehicles that elevate the human experience and transcend the perceived limitations of space, performance, and intelligence. Vehicles that are intuitive, liberating, and designed for the future of mobility.
We plan to lead in this new era of luxury electric by returning to the fundamentals of great design – where every decision we make is in service of the individual and environment. Because when you are no longer bound by convention, you are free to define your own experience.
Come work alongside some of the most accomplished minds in the industry. Beyond providing competitive salaries, we’re providing a community for innovators who want to make an immediate and significant impact. If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.

We are looking for an IT Asset Management Intern to join our IT team and support how IT equipment and services are managed across the EU region. Asset Management plays a key role in ensuring employees have the right devices and subscriptions to do their work while keeping everything tracked, compliant, and up to date.

In this internship, you will support the lifecycle of IT assets such as laptops, phones, tablets, peripherals, and mobile/SIM subscriptions. You’ll learn how assets are ordered, assigned, updated, returned, and audited, especially as employees join, move roles, or leave the company.

You’ll collaborate with teams including IT Support, HR, Logistics, Procurement, and international IT colleagues (including the US IT team). This is a great opportunity for a student who is organized, curious, and interested in IT operations, hardware, or process-driven work, and who wants hands-on experience in a professional, international environment.

What you’ll do

  • Support the day-to-day management of end-user IT assets across the EU region
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for laptops, mobile devices, tablets, peripherals, and inventory
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing, collecting, and returning IT devices
  • Assist with laptop ordering, reimaging, packing, and shipping
  • Help manage and track mobile devices and subscriptions
  • Send reminders and follow up with employees regarding returns, updates, or missing information
  • Document asset management processes and help ensure they are followed consistently
  • Work closely with stakeholders across departments and countries
  • Participate in alignment meetings with the US IT team

Internship project

During the internship, you will take ownership of one defined Asset Management project, such as:

  • Cleaning up and validating the existing EU asset inventory
  • Improving how IT assets are tracked and documented
  • Creating a structured overview/report of the asset lifecycle
  • Reviewing mobile subscriptions and identifying optimization opportunities

Tools & ways of working

  • Daily use of Microsoft tools: Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint
  • Exposure to an IT asset management and/or ticketing system (training provided)
  • In-person work from the Amsterdam office

What we’re looking for

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor (HBO/WO) in IT, Information Management, Business IT & Management, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Comfortable interacting with employees, stakeholders, and new joiners
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks
  • Able to understand processes quickly and follow them accurately
  • Interest in IT operations, asset management, inventory, or logistics
  • Comfortable working independently after initial onboarding

Nice to have

  • Experience with any ticketing or asset management system (e.g., ServiceNow or similar)
  • Basic understanding of hardware lifecycle (imaging, shipping, inventory tracking)
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., filters, pivots, data cleanup)
  • Interest in process improvement and documentation

What you’ll gain

  • Hands-on experience in IT Asset Management within a European organization
  • Exposure to global collaboration across EU and US IT teams
  • A structured understanding of IT onboarding/offboarding and asset lifecycle management
  • Ownership of meaningful operational responsibilities and a defined project
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international IT environment
