As an IT Healthcare Consultant- Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating agency needs and providing strategic advice on information technology and non-technical solutions. You'll work closely with business programs and IT organizations to deliver technical solutions that meet user needs, enhance business processes, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Serve as a liaison between business programs and IT to provide technical solutions.
  • Analyze operations to identify opportunities for process automation.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Document and analyze business processes, data requirements, and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in requirements management processes, including change control and status reporting.
  • Interact with various stakeholders, including vendors and government agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field.
  • 1 year of business analysis experience with IBM Cúram software.
  • 1 year of experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or related duties.
  • 1 year of experience eliciting, mining, and documenting business rules and processes.
  • 2 years of experience with Medicaid Eligibility or other healthcare insurance.

Preferences

  • General subject matter expertise in Medicaid or other healthcare insurance.
  • Experience with MMS (project or operations).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Project/Project Server.
