Detailed Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Blue Yonder (BY) WMS Techno Functional Consultant for the Production Sustain team, with deep hands-on experience in Blue Yonder WMS (2023 versions preferred). The ideal candidate will possess strong functional warehouse management knowledge combined with solid hands-on technical expertise, enabling them independently assess, analyze identify and resolve Production Incidents. This role requires close collaboration with warehouse operations teams and frequent onsite warehouse visits.

Techno Functional Responsibilities:Serve as a subject matter expert for Blue Yonder WMS (2023.x), with deep understanding of end-to-end solution design and support.Translate business and warehouse operational requirements into functional and technical BY WMS solutions.Configure and customize BY WMS components including:o Inbound (ASN, receiving, putaway)o Outbound (picking strategies, packing, loading, shipping)o Inventory managemento Replenishmento Wave / waveless processingo Yard management (if applicable)o Labor Management (LMS), if deployedDesign and review interfaces and integrations with:o ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)o TMS, automation systems (conveyors, MHE, ASRS), reporting toolsSupport upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts for BY WMS 2023 versions.Provide production support, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.

Warehouse & Operational EngagementConduct onsite warehouse visits to:o Understand real-world operational processeso Lead requirement-gathering workshopso Support UAT, cutover activities, and go-liveso Troubleshoot operational/system issues directly on the warehouse floorPartner with supply chain, operations, and IT teams to improve warehouse efficiency and throughput.

Implementation & Delivery:Lead or support full lifecycle implementations (design, build, test, deploy).Create and maintain:o Functional design documents (FDDs)o Technical specificationso Configuration and process documentationSupport SIT, UAT, and go live readiness.Mentor junior consultants and provide knowledge transfer to client/internal teams for timely incident resolution

Required Qualifications

Experience:8+ years of Warehouse Management System experience.5+ years of hands-on Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS experience.Proven experience with BY WMS 2023 versions (mandatory).Multiple full-cycle BY WMS implementations or major upgrades.

Technical Skills:Strong understanding of:o BY WMS architecture and data modelo Configuration vs. customization tradeoffso APIs, web services, message queueso SQL and data analysis for troubleshootingExperience with automation integration and RF/mobile device configurations is a plus.

Functional Expertise:Deep knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution center best practices.Experience across different fulfillment models (e-commerce, retail, wholesale, 3PL preferred).

Location & Travel:Must be based in or near Plano, TXWilling and able to frequently visit warehouses (local/regional).

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Blue Yonder WMS migrations from older versionsExposure to Distributed Order Management (DOM) or TMS is a plusPrior consulting experienceSupply chain or logistics certificationsSoft SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teamsComfortable working in fast-paced warehouse environments

Education:Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent experience, Project Code :PepsiCo PQGC BY WMS AMS Project
