Detailed Job Description:10+ years of GIS industry experienceExperience in Solution Design, capacity planning, infrastructure recommendations for Large Utility ClientsDefined processes, tools, etc. for Project transition to Support.Lead the overall ArcGIS Utility Network architecture for fiberDesign the physical fiber data model (cables, strands, splice points, devices)Define domain networks, tiers, subnetworks, rules, and associationsDesign redundancy, path diversity, and automated impact analysisDefine area classification and industrial constraint modelingEstablish global naming conventions and modeling standardsEvaluate ESRI compatible third-party fiber tools (NetTerrain used as reference input)Produce design and architecture documentationExisting ESRI Utility Network deploymentFiber network scope: Backbone + DistributionPhysical fiber modeling (cables, strands, splices)Mid span and enclosure splicing includedData sources: New build fiber only, provided as CAD (.dwg/.dxf) and KMZ files
