Job Description
Position OverviewThe Technical Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing the South Carolina Department of Public Health's Human Resources systems. This position primarily focuses on the SCEIS SAP ECC platform, along with other agency systems.The role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams by:
- Analyzing HR business processes
- Identifying improvement opportunities
- Leveraging SAP functionalities to optimize workflows
- Ensuring data integrity and compliance
- Analyze, document, and improve HR business and system processes
- Support and enhance SAP ECC and related HR systems
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with HR/Payroll regulations and data privacy standards
- Develop user guides, SOPs, and technical documentation
- Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IT implementation teams
- 5+ years of experience analyzing, documenting, and improving business/system processes using industry-standard tools and methodologies
- 5+ years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent HRIS systems
- 3+ years of experience with State HR/Payroll processes, Data privacy standards (HIPAA, FLSA),Regulatory compliance frameworks
- 5+ years of experience creating User guides, SOPs, Technical documentation.
- 3+ years of experience with Reporting, Dashboard creation, Data visualization in SAP or Power BI
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and like Collaboration tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
- Experience with NIST industry-standard information security practices
- Experience with IT implementation projects
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant fieldOR
- 10 years of equivalent professional work experience
