Program Experience (Required)
  • Current or recent hands-on experience with Microsoft System Center (highest priority).
  • Demonstrated success on previous System Center implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale System Center environments.
  • Strong documentation and operational best practices experience.
Technical Skills & ExperienceMicrosoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM) – Last 3 Years (Required)
  • Highly skilled in:
    • Implementing, maintaining, and configuring Service Offerings and Request Offerings
    • Configuring and maintaining connectors
  • Administering and supporting SCSM, including:
    • Configuration, customization, and integration with:
      • SCCM
      • SCOM
      • Orchestrator
  • Experience configuring:
    • Incidents
    • Changes
    • Services
Cireson Web Portal for Service Manager – Last 3 Years (Required)
  • Experience configuring and customizing the Cireson Web Portal
  • Hands-on experience installing, patching, and maintaining Cireson products
  • Preferred:
    • JavaScript-based administration and customization within Cireson
Windows Server Administration – Current (Required)
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server administration
  • Experience with:
    • Server patching
    • Ongoing maintenance
    • Performance and reliability best practices
Additional Technical ExperienceMicrosoft System Center Suite – Last 3 Years
  • Strong technical knowledge of the full System Center Suite, including:
    • SCCM
    • SCOM
    • Orchestrator
  • Understanding of System Center integrations and dependencies
System Center Orchestrator (Preferred)
  • Developing and maintaining:
    • Workflows
    • Templates
    • Automation runbooks
  • Automation using:
    • PowerShell
    • Orchestrator
Microsoft SQL Server – Last 5 Years
  • Basic understanding of:
    • SQL Server architecture
    • Database usage supporting System Center products
Identity & Access Management
  • Active Directory (Last 3 Years)
    • User and group administration in ADUC
  • Microsoft Entra ID
    • User and group configuration and administration
Microsoft PowerShell – Current (5.1 or newer)
  • Developing, maintaining, and running PowerShell scripts to:
    • Manage endpoints
    • Support automation and maintenance tasks
General Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine the Service Manager request intake process.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and patching of the Service Manager environment.
  • Provide recommendations for future enhancements and modernization.
  • Act as project lead for migrating the existing Service Manager environment to current standards.
  • Participate in and deliver major system implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • HIPAA
    • CDC
    • Other healthcare-related infrastructure and security standards
Required Skills (Ranked by Importance)
  1. 3+ years in a development role supporting MS System Center, demonstrating deep knowledge of services, features, architecture, and best practices
  2. 3+ years of administrative experience in Microsoft Azure
  3. 5+ years of administrative experience with Microsoft Windows Servers
  4. 3+ years working within an IT methodology framework (ITIL, MITA, or similar)
