Job Description

Job Title: IT Healthcare Consultant – Quality Assurance (Advanced) (10377)Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)Address: 1801 Main Street, Columbia, SC 29201Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible)Interview Process: 1 Round – VirtualKey Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end QA testing on technical solutions to identify and resolve defects
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Translate business requirements and policy documentation into test cases
Conduct functional, regression, usability, and negative testing
Design and support automated testing scripts where applicable
Maintain and track defects, issues, and test results documentation
Publish status reports on testing progress, issues, and risks
Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to resolve defects
Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, and QA governance processes
Ensure compliance with testing standards, policies, and best practices

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years experience translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios
2+ years experience testing IBM Curam software
Strong experience in test case development and execution
Ability to communicate QA findings, defects, and risks clearly to development teams
Experience creating and publishing QA status reports

Preferred Skills

5+ years experience in large enterprise or e-business systems
Strong understanding of Healthcare/Medicaid operations and business processes
Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Experience working in both:
- Waterfall (SDLC)
- Agile environments
Technical and/or Project Management certifications
