IT Healthcare Consultant Quality Assurance (Quality Assurance Tester Advanced)

Job Title: IT Healthcare Consultant – Quality Assurance (Quality Assurance Tester – Advanced) (9961)Location: Columbia, SC 29201Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite – Mandatory / 2 Days Remote)Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible)Consultant Location Requirement:South Carolina Resident ONLY (No relocation allowed)Daily Duties & Responsibilities:• Perform comprehensive testing of technical solutions to isolate and resolve issues• Initiate tests, analyze results, and identify root causes of technical problems• Develop detailed test plans, QA strategies, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes• Create and maintain test cases aligned with business and policy requirements• Translate business requirements and policy documentation into executable test scenarios• Design and execute user interface testing and regression testing• Perform reliability, stability, negative, and usability testing• Lead quality assessments to expose defects, security flaws, and optimization areas• Publish detailed status reports of open defects, risks, and testing gaps• Communicate findings clearly to Development and Project teams• Create QA documentation and maintain governance compliance• Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections per established standardsRequired Skills:• Bachelor's degree in Technical, Business, or related field (experience may substitute for degree)• 3+ years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios• 3+ years building and executing test cases within test systems• Experience documenting and supporting development of test scenarios and execution activities• Experience publishing defect status reports and articulating issues to development teams• Strong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Skills:• 5+ years experience in large enterprise or e-business systems• Deep knowledge of healthcare operations, preferably Medicaid• Proficiency in Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence• Experience working in both Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile environments• Technical and/or Project Management certifications (preferred but not required)About US: InterSources Inc. is a Small, Woman, and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 Type 2 certified company with massive 18+ years of diversified experience in providing IT Consulting Services, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analysis, Application Development, Cloud Services, Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing, ERP Management, Custom Software Development, Web Development, UI/ UX Design, System Integration, QA Support etc. We make reasonable accommodations for clients and employees, and we do not discriminate based on any protected attribute including race, religion, color, national origin, gender sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or marital status.
