Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Location: Culver City, California. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an IT leader who enjoys being close to the technology, users, and systems they support. Candidates within a practical daily commute are strongly preferred.

Note: This role requires 8+ years of progressive, hands-on IT experience, healthcare or pharmacy IT experience, HIPAA compliance experience, and strong proficiency across Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, servers, networking, backups, and EDR/security. Full-time on-site availability and 24/7 on-call support are required.

Job Description

  • Lead the day-to-day administration, reliability, and security of our IT environment
  • Personally troubleshoot desktop, printer, application, server, network, and infrastructure issues
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, identity governance, conditional access, and device compliance
  • Administer Windows Server environments including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and related infrastructure
  • Manage networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, cameras, backups, endpoint security, encryption, MFA, logging, and monitoring
  • Oversee Hyper-V environments, Microsoft SQL Server, EDR tools, remote management platforms, and related systems
  • Maintain HIPAA-compliant technical safeguards protecting electronic Protected Health Information
  • Manage IT vendors, contracts, security practices, backups, disaster recovery, and overall system reliability
  • Support both on-site and remote employees across a broad range of technical needs
  • Supervise and mentor a junior Helpdesk Technician
  • Provide hands-on support for printers, print servers, VOIP, mobile device management, and other business technology
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call coverage for critical technology issues

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive, hands-on IT experience
  • Healthcare or pharmacy IT experience required
  • Hands-on HIPAA compliance experience required
  • Strong Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune experience
  • Strong Windows Server, networking, backup, endpoint security, and EDR experience
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, systems, networks, applications, and security
  • Experience supporting both on-site and remote users
  • Ability to lead a junior technical team member while remaining highly hands-on
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work full-time on site in Culver City and provide 24/7 on-call support
  • Experience with cable installation/termination, camera systems, Ubiquiti equipment, printers, electronics, Hyper-V, SQL Server, MaaS360, RingCentral, or Splashtop is highly preferred
