IT Process Excellence Specialist (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

Process Mining & Data Analysis:

  • Leverage process mining tools such as Celonis to generate data‑driven insights
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and analytical views to monitor process performance
  • Write and adapt queries (e.g., PQL) to extract and analyze process data

Process Analysis & Optimization:

  • Analyze and evaluate end-to-end business processes (as-is) to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Design and model optimized target processes (to-be) using BPMN (e.g. BIC Cloud or similar tools)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of optimization measures

Technical Implementation & Solution Design:

  • Translate business requirements into analytical and technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain scalable data models and process mining setups
  • Monitor and maintain data pipelines and jobs within Celonis, including analyzing errors, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure data quality, system stability, and reliable availability of process data and dashboards

Other responsibilities:

  • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to validate findings and co-create solutions
  • Present insights, recommendations, and results to different audiences
  • Act as a bridge between business and IT technical teams

Your profile

  • Completed studies in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable field
  • Profound experience in process management, digital transformation, or application implementation
  • Familiarity with automation technologies, system integrations, and digital workflows
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:
  • Process mining tools, ideally Celonis
  • Process modeling standards such as BPMN and APQC
  • Business analysis and continuous improvement
  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) is a strong advantage
  • Solid functional understanding of SAP, with hands‑on exposure to at least one SAP module (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Order‑to‑Cash), enabling effective analysis of system‑driven business processes

  • Keen interest in new topics and innovative technologies
  • Analytical and structured way of working
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to manage expectations and conflicting views
  • Very good written and spoken English skills for collaborating in international teams

This role requires international travel (approximately 10% annually, depending on project needs)
