Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Senior Program/Project Manager to join our team for a 6-month contract with the possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple IT workstreams in a larger program.This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage and drive cross-functional teams effectively. The Senior Program Manager will play a critical role in planning and executing deliverables according to strict deadlines. They will coordinate the efforts of team members or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale programs, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering results in complex environments. They will be adept at identifying risks and issues early, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring that stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. They will develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, and ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. They will also be responsible for managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring that projects remain within financial constraints. Additionally, they will establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and making informed decisions under pressure.Responsibilities" Lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with workstream goals." Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among stakeholders." Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes." Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and expenditures are tracked accurately." Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.Requirements" Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent work experience." Minimum of 8 years of experience in program or project management, with at least 3 years in a senior delivery role." Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects from initiation to completion." Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams." Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities." Proficiency in project management software tools (Jira) and methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, Waterfall)." Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing circumstances." Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
