As a Project Coordinator, you will partner with IT and business leaders to keep projects on track, identify risks before they become problems, and ensure teams have the tools, information, and support needed to succeed. Position SummarySeeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our growing Project Management Office. Candidates for this role will be responsible for guiding the successful intake, governance, planning, execution, closing, and auditing of technology projects across multiple domain areas.
What You Will Do
Operate as a key team member and subject matter expert in the field of Project Management.Organize, facilitate, and audit the success of projects within the responsibilities of the department, with focus on identifying risks and preventing issues.Assist colleagues and leadership by capturing and following up on complex action items, task lists, and other documented and undocumented commitments.Work with IT and Business colleagues to build, improve, and deliver PMO reports, including but not limited to blockers, project status, portfolio status, and resource/team capacity and allocations.Coach project managers and scrum masters on PMO best practice, including but not limited to documentation, reporting, and facilitating accurate status reports.Schedule meetings, take notes, and drive action items and project tasks to completion.Facilitate the administration of project systems of record to ensure accurate information, efficient process, and adequate available training.
What You Will Need
Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience.2+ years of IT project management experience, assisting in the successful delivery of multiple projects with varying levels of complexity.Strong project management skills including a demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, organize, coordinate, manage, evaluate, and adjust resources, work effort, and cost for projects of high complexity and risk.Business and technical acumen; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the team in a professional manner.Able to solve complex problems, manage ambiguity and adapt to unexpected change.Excellent time management skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.Highly proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Highly proficient with project management tools such as Jira Software, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.
