Job Description
Your job is more than a job
We are looking for a project manager to serve as the front door for all new project and initiative requests within the Project Management Office (PMO). This role partners closely with business sponsors, operational leaders, and IT stakeholders to lead early discovery and intake activities, ensuring proposed initiatives are clearly defined, value‑driven, and aligned with organizational strategy. This project manager works with stakeholders to fully articulate business benefits, scope, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and high‑level resource needs before work enters the active portfolio.
By applying PMO governance standards and facilitating structured intake conversations, this project manager ensures leaders have the information needed to make informed prioritization and investment decisions. This role brings clarity to ambiguous ideas, challenges incomplete requests, and ensures intake data is consistently documented and maintained, improving portfolio transparency, demand forecasting, and the quality of work entering delivery teams.

- Elicit and document high‑level resource needs, timelines, and feasibility considerations in collaboration with delivery teams.
- Ensure requests meet PMO intake standards and governance criteria before advancing for prioritization or approval.
- Translate business ideas into clearly articulated, decision‑ready initiatives suitable for portfolio evaluation.
- Maintain accurate and consistent intake documentation to support portfolio visibility, reporting, and demand forecasting.
- Advise stakeholders on intake outcomes, next steps, and readiness to proceed within the PMO demand and prioritization process.
