Job Description
Burnett is currently partnering with a leader in comprehensive IT support, cybersecurity, cloud solutions and technology consulting. They have an immediate need for a 1+ year contract IT Recruiter/HR Coordinator in their NW Houston office. The role will focus heavily on recruiting, but may also assist the rest of the HR Department with other HR Ops, Benefits/Payroll and Compliance/Reporting duties as time allows.Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting tasks, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Coordinate communication with candidates and ensure a professional and timely hiring experience.
- Support hiring documentation, recruiting reports, and applicant tracking accuracy.
- Assist with researching, implementing, and maintaining an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to help streamline and automate the recruitment process, including supporting data entry and system setup.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in IT/Tech focused recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Hours will be Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm
- Role is 100% onsite
- Office is located in NW Houston (77084 zip)
- Parking IS provided
- Pay is $23-$25/hr, DOE
- Position is slated for a 1+ year contract with the potential to go perm OR get extended
