IT Security Analyst

The IT Security Analyst supports the protection of enterprise systems, networks, and data across corporate and manufacturing environments. This role focuses on hands-on use of security technologies and monitoring platforms to detect threats, investigate incidents, and help ensure compliance. The Analyst works closely with IT and OT teams to implement security controls and strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.Key Responsibilities• Monitor security tools and dashboards for threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity.• Support daily security operations across network, endpoint, and cloud environments.• Assist with the administration of firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and endpoint protection systems.• Create and maintain security alerts, reports, and dashboards for operational visibility and compliance.• Investigate and respond to security incidents with guidance from senior team members.• Perform basic vulnerability scans and track remediation activities.• Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and documentation efforts.• Collaborate with IT and OT staff to incorporate security into projects and system changes.• Support company-wide security awareness initiatives.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.• 2+ years of IT security experience or related IT operations role with security exposure.• Hands-on familiarity with network and endpoint security technologies.• Experience using security monitoring, logging, or reporting platforms.• Knowledge of fundamental security practices in networks, cloud, and endpoints.• Awareness of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.Certifications (Preferred)• Entry-level or associate-level security or network certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security).• Additional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus but not required.Skills & Competencies• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.• Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to IT colleagues and business users.• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a security-focused role.• Attention to detail and accountability in following processes.Why Join UsAt FII Foxconn, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a global security program, working with both IT and OT environments.
