In this role, you'll provide hands-on technical support that keeps campus systems running and students, faculty, and staff connected.
This role exists to deliver reliable IT support by troubleshooting issues, maintaining systems, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
What You'll Do:
- Provide technical support across PC, Mac, software, networking, and AV environments
- Own and resolve support requests end-to-end, ensuring timely and complete resolution
- Deliver professional, timely communication across all channels
- Meet performance metrics and follow standardized processes
- Support user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Troubleshoot networking and telecom issues with support from network teams
- Manage IT assets, including inventory, deployment, and decommissioning
- Set up and support AV for meetings and events
- Contribute to documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base updates
- Provide escalated and after-hours support as needed
- Partner with cross-functional IT teams to support broader needs
- Adhere to information security policies and protect company data
What You'll Bring: Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years' experience supporting Windows and Mac operating systems in a corporate environment
- Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and office applications
- Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration
- Ability to provide after-hours support
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting Office 365 and Windows server platforms
- Additional experience with Active Directory
Requirements
Education & Certifications:
- Two-year degree or higher preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft, CompTIA A+, or other technical certifications desired
Work Environment & Schedule:
Collegis employs team members in a variety of locations across the country, with certain roles requiring a consistent onsite presence. This position is fully in office at our Oak Brook, IL location, with employees expected to work onsite full time to support in-person collaboration, student engagement, and day-to-day operations.
