Job Description

Empath Health is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in an on-site role supporting day-to-day technology needs across the organization.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, building relationships with end users, and being a reliable resource for technical support. You'll play a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly, from setting up equipment to resolving issues and supporting ongoing IT initiatives.

What you'll Do

  • Provide hands-on technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and system issues both remotely and on-site
  • Install, configure, and deploy end user equipment, ensuring systems are set up efficiently and correctly from day one
  • Maintain and track IT equipment inventory, supporting lifecycle management and availability of resources
  • Document issues, resolutions, and trends to improve response times and prevent recurring problems
  • Partner with IT team members to support projects, system upgrades, and ongoing infrastructure initiatives
  • Deliver responsive, service-oriented support while escalating more complex issues when appropriate

What You'll Need

  • Associate's degree required (Bachelor's preferred) in a related field
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft Office, and end user hardware (Dell, HP, mobile devices)
  • Relevant certification such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft MCP (MCSE preferred)
  • Experience providing hands-on technical support, including remote troubleshooting and help desk support
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Valid Florida driver's license with reliable transportation to support on-site needs
