Schedule: 8A-5P Monday - Friday

Pay Range $70,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year

Work Location: On-site (Manhattan)

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will combine the hands-on fundamentals of a help desk engineer with the robust problem-solving skills of a systems administrator. They will demonstrate the capability to analyze and plan projects end-to-end, while also bringing the depth and wisdom of a veteran consultant who has 'been there, done that.'

What You Will Do

  1. Advise clients and execute on a broad range of IT solutions tailored to today's digital landscape.
  2. Microsoft 365 products in areas of advanced security and compliance, identity and access management, enterprise mobility, Teams, SharePoint.
  3. Support Advanced Windows & macOSX; M365 & User Configs Support; Endpoint management Support; Create Directions/Procedures; Resolves complex End User issues; VIP support; Assists Level 1/2 engineers in resolutions.
  4. Migrate environments from on-premises to the cloud, designing and architecting both modest and complex scenarios.
  5. Analyze customer networks, design, configure and implement solutions that optimize office productivity and connectivity.
  6. Lead initiatives that include comprehensive IT assessments and the development of robust security policies.
  7. Leverage your years of experience and certifications to work through familiar and unfamiliar scenarios that almost certainly include complications, bottlenecks and time constraints.

Experience

  1. Minimum 7 years of IT experience.
  2. Proven track record in consulting with a focus on Microsoft products and networking.
  3. Exposure to a wide range of IT solutions across diverse platforms.
    1. MacOSX Support
    2. Microsoft Office Support
    3. Basic Networking Support
    4. Troubleshoot computer issues
    5. Diagnose root cause of issues

Certifications (Preferred)

  1. High-level Azure certifications are preferred.
  2. MS-QSE1 Advanced Tier 2 Certification
  3. Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
  4. CW University: Automate Administrator
  5. HDI Cert: HDI Desktop Advanced Support Technician
  6. AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  7. MS-102 M365 Administrator Expert

Education

  1. Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Essential Skills

  1. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  2. Effective communication and documentation skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
