Job Description

We are looking for janitorial staff to join our growing team - This position will float between one of our 40 care homes in Genesee County deep-cleaning our homes and facilities. Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform deep cleaning of all areas within AFC homes, including resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways
Operate and maintain floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and other cleaning equipment
Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, and buff floors as required
Sanitize high-touch surfaces and disinfect all areas to control the spread of bacteria and viruses
Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately
Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor promptly
Follow all health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and company cleaning standards

May involve travel to other locations/agencies/meetings. May require evening, weekend, and holiday hours.Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Prior supervisory experience
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Previous custodial/janitorial experience (preferred)
