Janitor

Our technicians and in-house capabilities enable us to tackle jobs that no other shop can handle.We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Janitor to join our team at H&K Equipment in our Coraopolis, PA branch. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff, customers, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows instructions well, and understands the importance of cleanliness in a professional setting. Responsibilities:

• Clean restrooms, training rooms, offices, kitchens, hallways, and other common areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum
• Collect and dispose of trash
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Keep coolers stocked with ice and water in the summer
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Salting sidewalks and shoveling in the winter
Cut grass in the summerWeed control in the parking lots and gravelKeep waste oil areas clean Check fuels, oils, coolants daily
• Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any needed repairs
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
