Job Description
Our client, a community-focused organization dedicated to maintaining a welcoming and functional environment, is seeking a PT Custodian/Janitor to join their team. As a PT Custodian/Janitor, you will be an essential part of the facilities support team, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness for various events and daily activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Part Time - Custodian/Janitor
Location: Briarcliff Manor, NY
Pay Range: $20.00/hr.
Shift- M, Tu, Th 11AM-4PM Fri 10AM-3PM Sat 8AM-3PM OFF WEDNESDAY *Must be flexible to work additional hours as needed as wellNot accessible via public transportation
What's the Job?
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, synagogue, and school facilities
- Sweep floors, empty trash, and wash chalkboards
- Set up tables and chairs for events and activities
- Moving tables/chairs up/down stairs as needed
- Assist with light food preparation for events
- Perform light handyman duties such as painting and changing lightbulbs
What's Needed?
- Requires strong janitorial/maintenance background
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks as needed
