Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience developing applications with Java, including Java 21 or recent SDK versions.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot and the broader Spring Framework for backend application development.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs with JSON-based integration patterns.
- Experience with AWS services such as ECS, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with GitLab source control and GitLab CI/CD pipeline development and troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using modern Java SDK versions.
- Build and enhance applications using Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and JSON-based integrations.
- Support smaller web applications using Thymeleaf, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with AWS infrastructure, including ECS, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, and support infrastructure-as-code efforts using Terraform.
