Java Kubernetes Cloud Architect

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Java Kubernetes Architect with Cloud AWS experience - This position's primary responsibility will be for financial institution, to help in defining cross LOB architecture, improve existing patterns and introduce new industry standard patterns across the technical stack. The individual should have aptitude to understand the business process, work in a team environment with other architects, business/system analysts and developers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Newark, DE or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

• Strong Knowledge and expertise with minimum of 8 years of experience. in container cloud technologies like Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS and Azure
• Expertise in Java/J2EE technologies with minimum of 8 year of experience.
• Should have good knowledge of technologies like Spring, Spring Integration, Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NOSQL Restful services, WS-Security,
• Hands on experience on tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace Autosys etc.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (Oracle/SQL Server)
• proficiency in writing complex Unix/Linux scripting
• Hands on experience in UI technologies like Angular and React
• Hands on experience on Code Quality Tools like JUnit, Sonar/Crucible
• Experience on modern development methodology including Agile

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication and Analytical skills
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Minimum of 5 years of client-facing experience involved in the sales process and in shaping deals & working on large sales pursuits.
• Nice to have Azure Solution Architect certified and should have role relevant certifications.
• Experience in Banking domain
• Strong communication and Analytical skills
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
