Job Title: Java Microservices and Spring boot Developer Request-ID:98864-1 Location: Las Vegas, NVDuration: 6+ months Pay Range: $45.00- 49.00 /Hour We are seeking an experienced Java Lead Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable backend services, mentoring development teams, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Develop robust, defect-free backend services with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
- Analyze existing applications, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement code improvements.
- Design and develop scheduled jobs using Java, SQL, and scripting.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to deliver complete end-to-end application solutions.
- Participate in system architecture, database design, and API development.
- Manage source code, branching strategies, and deployments using Git.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the development team.
Stakeholder & Leadership Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
- Provide regular project and program status updates to senior leadership.
- Lead technical discussions, planning sessions, and design reviews.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.
- Evaluate delivery performance and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives and program goals.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Git and version control best practices.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
- Experience with application performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
