Role Overview:
- Jira Ninja: Own and drive integrated schedules in Jira. Define and manage the critical path across hardware and software workstreams, adapting it effectively within an agile execution framework. Lead and coordinate efforts to resolve project-related challenges and blockers.
- Resource Management: Coordinate with functional leads to allocate human resources and products to ensure efficient fulfillment of project objectives and deadlines, balancing capacity planning with sprint-based execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate efforts across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and BD to ensure integrated execution and alignment on priorities and dependencies.
- Jira Tools & Metrics: Establish and maintain tools and performance metrics for planning, risk management, and execution. Leverage Jira to manage backlogs, epics, dependencies, and sprint execution while maintaining visibility into critical path activities. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Change Management: Manage and document scope changes, assessing impact to the critical path and agile delivery plans, and ensure continued alignment with overall project goals.
- Strong expertise in Jira (and Confluence), including backlog management, sprint planning, dependency tracking, and reporting - 3 years of experience at least
- Expert in project management software ( Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project)
- Demonstrated experience managing critical path schedules within an agile or hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) project environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
- B.S. in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- U.S. security clearance
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master)
