Job Description
Job Title: Technical Product Leader – Oversight Location: New York, NY 10286 Duration: 12 months +(Possible Extension) Pay Range: $70 - $75/hr W2Scope:
- Support a high-visibility retail fintech initiative within Client's Government Projects organization
- Serve as a Technical Product Manager overseeing multiple product workstreams and retail-focused initiatives
- Drive product ownership across multiple pods while maintaining accountability for delivery outcomes
- Partner with leadership to align product execution with strategic vision, compliance requirements, and operational goals
- Evaluate architecture, implementation approaches, scalability, performance, and roadmap decisions
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, and product teams to guide decision-making across retail platforms
- Function as a utility player capable of moving across multiple initiatives rather than focusing on a single product area
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear visual narratives, roadmaps, and strategic presentations
- Support products serving large-scale consumer user bases with high transaction volumes and frequent user interactions
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably significantly more
- Strong Technical Product Management background with ability to understand architecture and implementation decisions
- Experience supporting high-volume retail, fintech, brokerage, trading, or consumer-facing digital platforms
- Deep understanding of large-scale mobile and web application ecosystems
- Experience working with iOS, Android, and web-based application delivery models
- Ability to oversee multiple workstreams while maintaining ownership and accountability
- Strong knowledge of product strategy, roadmap development, and product execution
- Experience operating in highly scaled environments with significant user volume and performance considerations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to create and present visual product stories, roadmaps, and strategic narratives – Visual Story Telling Matters
- Brokerage, trading, wealth management, or investment platform experience
- Knowledge of SEC, FINRA, FinCEN, and related regulatory environments -Compliance
- Compliance, governance, oversight, or regulated product experience
- Experience with data-intensive applications and large-scale transaction platforms
- Fintech startup or Silicon Valley product experience
- Exposure to consumer-focused healthcare platforms with large user populations
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams or pods
