Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled, safety-focused and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in Commercial C-Store/Petroleum settings. Your expertise will ensure safe, reliable electrical operations that meet industry standards and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from construction sites to renovation projects, utilizing your extensive electrical knowledge. You will be responsible for ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and Petroleum Dispensers
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics to ensure precise installation and maintenance of electrical components
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage equipment to support industrial and commercial operations
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues accurately
• Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety protocols during all phases of work
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations within renovation or new construction projects
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure ongoing system reliability

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
• Ability to read complex schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams effectively
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low/high voltage systems
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment
• Knowledge of NEC regulations and compliance requirements for various electrical installations
• Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, frame carpentry, schematic interpretation, and handyman skills is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in renovation or new build projects

Requirements

• Valid Jorneyman Electrician License - Must have an active Kentucky EE number
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Able to work with hand tools and power tools
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work in various environments
• Able to travel/stay out of town when needed
• Able to operate equimpnet such as Mini Excavator and skid steers is a plus
