This position handles installation, repair, and maintenance service projects for all types of electrical systems in residential and light commercial settings in Colorado Springs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
- 3+ yrs of experience as journeyman electrician
- Experience in residential and commercial electrical systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service oriented with a desire to learn new skills
- Willing to start immediately
- Commitment to following company regulations
- Participating in regular training sessions to stay up to date with industry standards
JOB DUTIES
- In-depth understanding of installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical equipment and related devices.
- Determines general condition of all electrical equipment, can troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, and determine the extent of necessary repairs.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to specify the layout of electrical systems.
- Identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects.
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional services or upgrades to customers, effectively explaining the benefits to drive sales.
- Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions and straightforward pricing.
- Provide technical guidance to peers and onsite technicians.
- Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and timely.
