What You'll Be Doing

You'll be hands-on every day, making a difference through skilled installation and service. Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing complete solar water heating systems: thermal collectors, storage tanks, circulating pumps, valves, and control boxes

• Mounting solar panels securely and safely on rooftops (shingle, tile, metal) using code-compliant and weatherproof installation techniques

• Running and connecting plumbing lines using copper, CPVC, PEX, or flexible tubing

• Performing pressure tests and leak checks to verify system performance and safety

• Completing basic wiring of components such as thermostats, controllers, and circulating pumps (training provided if needed)

• Servicing and maintaining existing systems - flushing tanks, replacing components, and troubleshooting issues as needed

• Interacting professionally with clients and team members

• Maintaining clean, safe, and compliant job sites

What You'll Need to Succeed

This role is designed for trade professionals who know how to get the job done right, stay organized, and take ownership of their work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Journeyman Plumber License (Required – no RMP/RME needed)

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record

• Must provide your own PPE and hand tools (all materials and company vehicle provided)

• Comfort working at heights and on rooftops with proper safety protocols

• Ability to lift and move equipment, tanks, ladders, and tools in variable outdoor conditions

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team

• Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to customer service
