Journeyman Plumber

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Commercial Journeyman-level Plumber with a strong mechanical background to join our Federal Operations and Maintenance Team based in Anchorage, Alaska.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, test, and repair plumbing and HVAC mechanical systems, related piping systems, control valves, and all other related equipment, in accordance with plumbing and HVAC codes.

• Must have the ability to read and understand design documents.

• Must have the ability to lead projects and manage change.

• Ability to estimate time and material jobs.

• Maintain customer satisfaction and exceed customers' expectations.

• Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Vocational High School Diploma, trade school certification, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in commercial plumbing and installation.

• Journeyman's Plumbers License

Additional Qualifications:

• Self- starter, able to work in a team environment and able to install from bid specifications.

• Will be required to travel to remote locations at times.

• Physical ability to bend, reach, climb, and lift 45+ lbs. without assistance.

• Strong verbal, written, computer communication (MS Office) and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines.

• Valid driver's license in good standing in state of residence.
