Journeyman Plumber

Our journeyman plumbers specialize primarily in new-construction installations of diverse plumbing systems. JRT undertakes a wide range of commercial and industrial projects, encompassing educational facilities, multi-family residential developments, hotels, police and fire stations, food processing plants, large distribution warehouses, and similar structures.
We deliver services across the private, public, and federal sectors, ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards and project specifications. Job Description:
- Install plumbing and hydronic systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Primarily new construction and occasional upgrades or remodels.
- Affix clamps, screws, brazing, soldering, welds, etc. to pipes and tubes
- Measure and modify pipes accordingly by cutting, threading, or bending pipes by using specialized tools
- Install appliances like boilers, water heaters, toilets, sinks, etc.
- Confirm pipe system is air/watertight by performing pressure tests
- Test plumbing and other installed fixtures to ensure proper functioning
- Follow state laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes
- Train new apprentices in proper plumbing techniques and practices
- We perform a wide range of interesting and challenging work that includes standard plumbing, hydronic systems and mechanical equipment.
Qualifications:
