Jr. Accounting AssistantPay: $22/hourSchedule: Part-Time, Tuesday–Thursday, 9: 00 AM–5: 00 PMDuration: Through the end of the yearWe are seeking a reliable and organized Jr. Accounting Assistant to support the front desk office of a Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic accounting experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing administrative and accounting responsibilities. - Assist with accounts receivable and invoicing functions
- Process, organize, and maintain accounting-related records and documentation
- Enter and update information accurately using Excel
- Provide general administrative and front desk support as needed
- Assist with daily office operations and other accounting-related tasks
- Maintain accurate records and ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous experience with accounts receivable and invoicing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
- Knowledge of OPERA hotel software is a plus
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong time-management and multitasking skills
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
