Job Description
Job Summary:
The Marketing Assistant (Junior Marketer) supports executive leadership by assisting in the execution, analysis, and reporting of marketing campaigns and initiatives. This role works closely with the C-suite and cross-functional teams to gather data, create marketing materials, support events, and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thinks outside the box and thrives with minimal supervision and is comfortable communicating insights directly to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the C-suite in the execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives.
- Gather and analyze data related to campaign performance, including audience feedback and survey results.
- Prepare clear, detailed reports and present insights using visually appealing charts, graphs, and presentations for executive decision-makers.
- Create and manage surveys, questionnaires, and other tools to measure marketing impact.
- Assist with the planning, setup, facilitation, and completion of marketing and corporate events.
- Oversee and coordinate the design and graphics of marketing materials to ensure brand consistency and executive-level presentation quality.
- Conduct market research to better understand organizational goals, industry trends, and target audiences.
- Handle interdepartmental communications and coordinate with vendors and internal teams on behalf of executive leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and professionally with executives, vendors, and internal teams.
- Creativity: Ability to develop visually appealing marketing materials and contribute creative ideas aligned with executive vision.
- Analytical Skills: Comfortable compiling, analyzing, and presenting data in a clear, executive-friendly format.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Self-Starter: Go-getter attitude with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
Physical & Travel Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry 60+ pounds.
- Some travel will be required.
