Our client, a full-service law firm, is seeking a remote Foreclosure Judgement Paralegal residing in Florida to join their growing team.Job Requirements:
- Reviews file and notify designated departments of impediments preventing case from being at issue prior to Judgment.*
- Monitor files and draft/file motions as needed*
- Direct communication with attorneys and clients regarding case status/questions/phone conference coordination*
- Prepare Motions for Summary Judgment and Motions to Set Non-Jury Trials*
- Request Witness and Documents from servicer; draft and file/serve Trial Order with Witness and Exhibit Lists; draft/file Supplemental Witness List(s) once assigned.*
- Ensure county specific requirements are met by deadlines: lost note/mortgage (surety) bonds, pre-trial statements, file trial worksheets, disclosing exhibits, COCs, court e-submissions, filing fees*
- Prepares Trial Binder with exhibits as well as Affidavit of Attorneys Fees and Costs, Affidavit in Support of Attorneys Fees and Costs, Final Disposition form, Final Judgment, Affidavit of Compliance, Notice of Filing Original Note and Mortgage and Sales notices if applicable.*
- Sends Witness prep email proposed final judgment, trial exhibits, and attorney contact information*
- Prepare Final Judgment package for Motions for Summary Judgment*
- Resolves any issues preventing judgment from being entered post-event*
- Prepares Motion to Amend Final Judgment and Amended Final Judgment as needed
- High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required*
- Some college preferred*
- At least two years of litigation experience required. Foreclosure experience preferred*
- Phoenix, LPS, Vendorscape, Real Resolution, Lenstar, Clarifier and PACER experience highly preferred*
- Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products*
- Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload*
- Must work well under pressure*
- Florida Notary Public a plus*
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills*
- Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail and phone)*
- Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers*
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
