Job Description

The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies.

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Junior Maintenance & Operations Project Managers to support LAUSD’s Facilities Services Division. This role is ideal for construction professionals who have hands-on experience managing public works or educational facility projects and want to grow within a large-scale public infrastructure program.

Salary Range: $115K/Year-$125K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and expediting school construction and modernization projects
  • Serve as liaison between District PM units, Maintenance & Operations, consultants, and contractors
  • Review Requests for Assistance (RFAs) and determine scope of work
  • Perform initial funding reviews and coordinate with accounting teams
  • Track project budgets, labor charges, and cost proposals
  • Support asbestos and lead abatement projects (A&B contracts, Task Orders, JOC contracts)
  • Review contractor submittals, daily logs, and certified payroll
  • Assist with project closeout and certification efforts
  • Attend job start meetings and ensure safety and environmental compliance
  • Update project tracking systems and monitor overall project progress

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of full-time professional experience in Project or Construction Management
  • Experience in public agency or educational facility projects preferred
  • Exposure to all phases of construction (pre-construction, planning, monitoring, close-out)
  • Knowledge of Cal OSHA safety protocols and environmental procedures is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental field, or related disciplineCandidates without a degree may substitute additional experience year-for-year.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Asset & Work Management Systems (Maximo preferred)
  • Strong cost analysis and scope review skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and administrative teams
