Junior Paralegal (Contract) | Houston, TXLocation: Houston, TX (Onsite) - Northwest (near the Beltway and 249) Duration: 3060 Day Contract AssignmentPay Rate: $25.00$26.00/hourStart Date: ASAP Our client is seeking a Junior Paralegal to support its Legal and Compliance team on a temporary project focused on litigation support, document management, and legal research.This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with 13 years of experience looking to gain exposure to civil litigation and regulatory matters in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities
- Document review and organization
- Maintain and update case files and legal records
- Conduct legal and regulatory research
- Assist with document collection and production requests
- Track deadlines and maintain litigation calendars
- Support attorneys with administrative litigation tasks
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and legal support documents
- Assist with matters involving Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Texas Public Information Act (TPIA) requests
- 13 years of Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience
- Experience with document review, legal research, and case management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Litigation support experience preferred
- Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX
- Document review
