Job Description
Lab49 is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support delivery across complex engineering programs for a leading global financial services client. The role focuses on release governance, Agile execution, and cross-team coordination, ensuring structured and compliant delivery from development through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end release lifecycle management including planning, validation, approvals, and deployment governance
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product) to ensure alignment on sprint and release objectives
- Track and manage dependencies, risks, and issues with proactive escalation and mitigation
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
- Ensure high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria aligned to Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
- Coordinate production releases and support incident triage, resolution tracking, and post-incident reviews
- Prepare weekly and monthly governance reports covering delivery status, risks, and key metrics
- Drive adherence to SDLC standards, audit requirements, and internal compliance processes
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or Scrum roles
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
