Job Details

You will support requirements analysis, design, integration, and test of mission-critical Navy systems. Working with guidance from senior engineers, you will help ensure designs meet government specifications and are fully documented, verified, and certified.

RequireActive DoD Secret clearance at time of hireBachelor's in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field1 to 2 years of professional engineering experience (internships and co-ops with substantial systems engineering work considered)Understanding of systems engineering concepts and the system development life cycleRequirements management tool experience (IBM DOORS, Jama, or similar)Technical documentation experience: specifications, interface definitions, drawings, or test proceduresFamiliarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)Strong written and verbal communication

PreferredSysML and MBSE tools (Cameo/MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect)Navy combat or weapon systems experience, including TomahawkAccreditation, certification, or DoD RMF supportLinux and networking fundamentalsPython or Bash scriptingGovernment or Navy customer experienceAgile development environment
