This individual will operate under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager and will take ownership of small to medium-sized projects—ranging from internal process improvements to the deployment of small-scale enterprise applications. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively across teams in a fast-paced, professional services environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging project management professional to gain hands-on experience leading technology initiatives and to build a career in technology project and program management.

This role will ideally be based in our NYC, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, or Dallas offices and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead small-scale Global Technology projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met
  • Support the Senior Project Manager on larger, cross-functional projects and assist with project documentation, reporting, and coordination

  • Coordinate project meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-up with stakeholders
  • Prepare status updates and progress reports for internal leadership
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to document project requirements and validate outcomes
  • Ensure adherence to established project management processes and frameworks within Global Technology
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in implementing new tools or methods for efficient project delivery

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of project coordination or project management experience in a technology environment; experience in a business analyst role also preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency in ticket management systems (Jira or Azure DevOps)
  • High-level understanding of coding platforms and system integrations
  • Experience in test case creation and QA/UAT testing and experience in process mapping
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously with attention to detail; comfortable in a dynamic, high-performance environment
  • Experience interacting with cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, and vendors; must have strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Eagerness and self-motivation to learn PM best practices and gain an understanding in technology systems, integration, and flow, with a strong interest in AI tools and technology development
  • PMP or CAPM certification (or progress toward certification) is a plus

You Are:

  • Excited to be part of a growing team, with a focus on driving future growth
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional client service
  • Knowledgeable about the relationship between Private Equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, particularly within the office of the CFO
  • Willing to get your hands dirty in the details of a project while simultaneously seeing the whole picture
  • Comfortable managing projects with multiple complex workstreams while also focused on your single workstream (you are managing and doing)
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Full of entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable in a fluid, flat organization
  • Able to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions, and raise issues to senior team members when necessary
  • A team player, able to work with team members across all levels
  • Someone who enjoys mentoring others and doing meaningful work
  • A leader of others; you lead by example
