Now Hiring: Justice Court Clerk
Court Administration & Clerical Support
Openwork is hiring an organized and dependable Justice Court Clerk for a court office in Humble, TX 77388. This position supports daily court operations through accurate recordkeeping, document preparation, data entry, and professional customer service.
Qualified candidates must have at least 1 year of computer and clerical experience and strong Microsoft Office skills. Previous legal, paralegal, court, or judicial experience is strongly preferred.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintain court dockets, records, and files.
- Prepare correspondence and court-related documents.
- Coordinate court appearances and scheduling.
- Administer oaths as required.
- Enter and update information accurately in court records.
- Answer incoming calls and assist the public professionally.
- Prepare certified copies, reports, and other documentation.
- Maintain organized records and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Support additional clerical and court-related duties as needed.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum 1 year of computer and clerical experience — REQUIRED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook — REQUIRED.
- 1+ year of paralegal, legal, court, or judicial system experience — STRONGLY PREFERRED.
- Strong computer, typing, and data-entry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication.
- Ability to assist callers and members of the public courteously.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
- Discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Reliable attendance and a professional demeanor.
