Job Description
We’re hiring a full-time Kennel Technician to join our pack at Biggest Little Paws in Sparks, NV! If you’re dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dog environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Position Details:
- Schedule: All shifts are from 7am-7pm, Sunday-Monday available. 1-4 days a week.
- Starting Pay: $18-$21/hour.
- Full-time position.
- Opportunity for growth within the company.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Cleaning kennels and facility areas.
- Picking up dog waste and maintaining clean play yards.
- Feeding and watering dogs.
- Rotating dogs safely between kennels and play groups.
- Supervising dogs and monitoring behavior.
- Assisting with daily kennel operations and sanitation.
Requirements:
This is a physically demanding position and is repetitive.
Applicants should be:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
- Able to tolerate loud environments.
- Able to work well under stress.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and clean throughout the day.
- Comfortable handling repetitive cleaning tasks.
- Able to work independently and efficiently.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Experience in animal care is a plus, but willingness to learn and strong work ethic are most important.
