Summary:
Evanhoe and Associates is seeking a System Administrator to support the NOVASTAR effort currently underway at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
- Provide installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of commercial and custom software
- Installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of commercial and custom software
- Assist users in access and use of IT systems
- Support IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for system issues and escalated tickets
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with RedHat, Linux, CentOS, and/or UNIX
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university desired
- 5 years' experience as a System Administrator in programs and systems of similar scope, size, and complexity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Docker, DC/OS, AWS, and/or Kubernetes desired
- Security+ is strongly desired
