As a Labor & Delivery nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns in a supportive and collaborative environment.Provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stagesMonitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and fetal heart ratesAdminister medications and drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocinCollaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plansEducate and support patients and their families throughout the birthing processFloat across all campuses as requiredRequirements:Need 2 years experience in settingExperience in Postpartum, Mother-Baby, and Labor & Delivery careC-section and vaginal delivery experience, including triageIntermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certificationActive Iowa or compact/multistate RN licenseAHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS certificationAHA/American Heart Association ACLS certificationNRP certificationMust have completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 monthsApply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
