Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Rockford, IL

Pay: $1885 - $2271 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

Are you a dedicated Labor & Delivery nurse looking for your next opportunity to make a difference in a high-risk environment? Do you have the expertise and passion to care for patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center? If so, we have an exciting travel position that could be the perfect fit for you!

As a valued member of the Labor & Delivery team, you will utilize your clinical skills and compassionate care to support mothers and their newborns during one of the most critical times in their lives. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care
Administering prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques and standards
Documenting patient care according to standards of care
Developing and executing individualized patient care plans
Participating in performance improvement activities within the department
Providing clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments
Utilizing critical thinking to ensure patient safety and enhance patient experience

Requirements for this role include:

Current IL License, CPR, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification
High-risk labor & delivery experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center
Need 1 year experience in setting
