Job Description
Lab Assistant- II
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday: Day Shift
Job Responsibilities
- Displays good working knowledge of routine use and maintenance of equipment relevant to area
- Performs equipment verifications and calibrations (pipettes, balances, pH meters, plate readers, etc.)
- Prepares reagents, buffers, and other study related solutions as needed
- Provides general lab cleaning, expired reagent monitoring, and glassware washing
- Manages the inventory, ordering, E-Workbook registration, storage, organization, and disposal of laboratory supplies
- Performs test article / reference material weighing's as needed
- Performs freezer and refrigerator maintenance, oversees organization
- Maintains water systems, performs readings, or sends samples out for testing
- Provides ideas, supports, and participates in process improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1 year or more of laboratory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 or 4 year degree
Additional Job Standards:
- Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment
- Demonstrates understanding of Health and Safety compliance by following SOP's
- Train and assist less experienced staff
- Perform other duties as assigned

Pay Range: $20-$22 per hour
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
