Job Description

Lab assistant needed for a busy dermatology clinic. Applicant must be a self-starter comfortable with a team environment.

This job WILL require travel.

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive:

Handling Fresh Tissue.
Cutting Frozen Sections.
Staining Tissue.
Prepare Histology Specimens.
Documenting Results.
Logging Patient Information.
Data Entry.

Key Skill Requirements:

Bachelor of Science or an Associate of Science or Certified Histotechnologist.
Excellent teamwork.
Attention to detail.
Observational skills.
Problem-solving ability.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Time management skills.
Strong organizational skills.
HIPAA compliance and safe OSHA practices.
