Lab Tech - II (Associate)

JSG is recruiting a Lab Tech - II (Associate) for a client in Millsboro DE. The selected candidate will play a vital role in advancing veterinary biologicals through precise laboratory testing and analysis. This position offers an exciting opportunity for dedicated science professionals to apply their technical expertise in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment Pay $26.63/hourWhat You'll Do: As a Laboratory Technician in our quality control lab, you will independently perform complex laboratory procedures, ensuring compliance with stringent government and company standards. Your work will involve handling technical equipment, conducting biological assays, and analyzing viruses, bacteria, or cell lines. You’ll contribute to maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency while supporting the development of veterinary products.Required Skills:

• Experience with analytical instrumentation and biological assays*
• Proficiency in microscopy, aseptic techniques, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)*
• Strong analytical aptitude and critical thinking skills*
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities*
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols*
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform outdoor/indoor tasks in varying environments

Nice to Have Skills:

• SAP knowledge or experience*
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for EM

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with three years laboratory experience required*
• Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline preferred

Other Requirements:

• A rabies titer and vaccination will be required post-offer, provided onsite*
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and face shield is mandatory at all times*
• Ability to work in environments with coolers and freezers, and adhere to safety standards
