Lab Warehouse Operator

Job Summary:Responsible forthe safe and efficient receipt, storage, and organization of products essential to the operation of the R&D Lab.Conducts inventory on consumables to ensure items requiredare always on hand. 

EssentialJob Duties andResponsibilities: 

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

• Operatesequipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, andutility vehicles. 

• Efficiently locates, processes, moves, and stagesproject materialsfor smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

• Performsregular cycle counts andreconcilesdiscrepancies between physical counts and records.

• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inventory needs and resolve issuesand discrepancies.

• Ensuring accuracy in inventory tracking, including location, quantity, and quality ofmaterials. 

• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas.

• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers to efficiently handle tasksnecessaryfor theprogression of R&D projects. 

• Reports inefficiencies in processes to supervisor. 

• Runs weekly report of reserve stockand daily shortages correctingdiscrepancies. 

• Organizes andmaintainsNAIC to ensure safety andaesthetics. 

• Attends bi-weekly R&D support meetings.

Education and Experience Requirements: 

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.Knowledge of AAON mainframe and warehouse processes preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.

• Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.

• Presents a strong, confident, and decisive personality. 

• High attention to detail. 

• Basic computer skills. 

• Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities,organizationaland time management skills.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced, high-pressure,temperature controlled Test Lab and manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure 

• Lift up to 50 lbs., climbing, stooping, sitting, or standing for prolonged periods.
