Job Description

Laboratory Equipment Maintenance, Qualification, and Calibration Engineer

Synergy is seeking an experienced maintenance, qualification, and calibration of laboratory equipment specialist. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience, not managerial experience. This experience must include laboratory instruments calibration activities in support of pharmaceutical or biotech laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute maintenance, qualification, and calibration programs for laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Perform IQ, OQ, and PQ activities according to regulatory guidelines and company SOPs.
  • Coordinate and conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of all maintenance, calibration, and qualification tasks.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory equipment maintenance, qualification, and calibration.
  • Experience with a wide range of laboratory instruments and calibration tools.

  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills for laboratory instruments.
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities.
  • Effective communication and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
