Job Description
Support day-to-day laboratory operations for biologics development laboratories at the client's facility in New Brunswick, NJ. This position helps maintain efficient, safe, compliant, and inspection-ready laboratories supporting process development activities.
Responsibilities include coordinating laboratory supplies and inventory, placing and tracking orders, supporting sample preparation and movement, coordinating instrument calibration and maintenance activities, maintaining documentation, working with vendors and service engineers, conducting laboratory safety walkthroughs, and supporting routine laboratory readiness.
The role also supports equipment repairs and installations, work orders, freezer and cold-room reviews, equipment decommissioning activities, and instrument usage records. Limited assay or analytical support may be provided as needed.
Position details:
- Hourly rate: $24.62–$31.27;
- Contract length: 6 months with possible extension;
- Work arrangement: 100% onsite;
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, normal business hours;
- Maximum hours: 40 hours per week;
- W-2 contract position;
- No C2C options;
- No visa sponsorship.
Requirements
Required:
- Associate degree with relevant laboratory technician or laboratory operations experience;
- 2+ years of laboratory technician or laboratory operations experience;
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel;
- 1–2+ years of purchasing experience;
- Knowledge of general laboratory instrumentation, safety, and laboratory activities;
- Ability to communicate effectively with laboratory services, facilities, engineers, vendors, and scientists;
- Ability to quickly learn new computer software;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work as a self-starter;
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- SAP Ariba purchasing experience;
- Experience working in a GxP environment.
